    In Farsi, Gol means flower. Goli literally meaning “color of the flower" usually refers to light red or variations of pink. Goli is also a female given name. Goli: A Tale of Threads is a documentary film that looks at the traditional handloom textile weaving and tinting workshops in Kashan, Iran. The film weaves together sonic and visual threads to create a sensory experience of the workshops, built specifically for this craft.
